Disclaimer on the analyses

FinScan analyses are generated by an artificial intelligence from the filed annual accounts. They help you read a balance sheet; they replace neither the official filing nor a professional.

An analysis generated by an AI

Each analysis is written automatically by an artificial intelligence model (Google Gemini), from the document filed with the Central Balance Sheet Office of the National Bank of Belgium. The amounts are taken from the filing; the ratios, score, profile, vigilance level and report are produced by the model following the published methodology.

An AI can misread a document, make a calculation error or phrase a conclusion too strongly. Each amount carries its heading code so you can find it in the official filing.

What it is not

  • Not investment advice. FinScan does not recommend buying, selling, investing or withdrawing.
  • Not a credit rating. The score and vigilance level are not a solvency rating in the sense of a rating agency or a credit insurer.
  • Not professional advice. It is neither an audit, nor the opinion of an accountant, auditor, tax adviser or lawyer.

Accounts that are not recent

A company files its accounts at the latest seven months after its year end. By the time you read an analysis, the company's situation may have changed for several months, sometimes more than a year: the year-end date is shown on each company page.

Some facts do not appear in annual accounts: an ongoing dispute, a lost contract, a recent late payment, insolvency proceedings opened after the filing.

Before deciding

Check the amounts in the official filing, cross-check with other sources (Belgian Official Gazette, Crossroads Bank for Enterprises, central solvency register) and seek advice for any important decision.

Report an error

An error, a questionable wording or a removal request is reported through the contact form, reason "An error in an analysis" or "A removal request". The analysis is reviewed by the team and, if needed, corrected or removed.
